Lifetree Cafe is an off site conversation experience that meets twice a month at The Parlor Bar (205 Lake Ave.) at 6:00 p.m.
Launched in October 2016, Central Church has a new gathering outside of our building. This is an hour long interactive experience, a "conversation cafe" that features real people's real stories on film, guided conversation, biblical insights, and time to build relationships. Lifetree Cafe tackles the topics that most people deal with - topics about the big and little events that shapes our lives. Family. Friends. Fears. Busyness. Balance. Money. Materialism. Health. Soul-work. Peace. Purpose. At Lifetree Cafe you're encouraged to share your own stories and listen to others. But, if you don't feel like talking that's okay, too. You're welcome just as you are.
Our vision is to attract people to this gathering who are not part of Central Church. We would like to do this by inviting Central Church members and friends to join us, bringing a uninvolved friend with you. Find out more at the Lifetree Cafe website. For more information about meeting dates contact, Pastor Chris Lane.
Upcoming 2017 meeting dates are:
- June 12 - The Church and Gays
- June 26 - Surrounded by Stuff
- Summer Break for July and August, resume in September
