Mission Trips & Events

Serving our local and world community and environment is one of the many ways we can take church outside our doors.  Below is a list of our upcoming Mission Committee Trips and Events.  Open to all ages and all capabilities.

 

 

Missouri Mission Trip

Friday, March 23 - Friday, March 30, 2012

Anyone 14 or older or youth 8-13 with a family member

  

An intergenerational team is scheduled to head to the Joplin, Missouri area over spring break. It has taken several months just to cleanup from the destruction. Travel will be via the church van or arrange for private transportation.  We are planning on assisting in re-building efforts.  Accommodations are through area families and churches and estimated cost is $500.  We ask that you help with 25 hours of group fundraising.  If you are interested in participating contact Kurt Pellagrino or the church office at 946-5191.  Read more about the Missions Possible Team.

 

  

New York City Mission Trip

June 15 - 22, 2012

Anyone 14 or older or youth 8-13 with a family member

 

A team is heading to New York to work with agencies that help the hungry and homeless of New York City.  Travel will be via the church van or arrange for private transportation.  Accommodations will be through an area church.  Estimated cost is $500.  Contact Chris Lane for more information.  Read More about the Missions Possible Team.
