Caring Teams
Central's Health Ministry, Stephen Ministry, and Visitors in the Parish work together to provide the appropriate Christian caring to Central's church family wherever the need arises. more info
Central Image
Central Image members photograph worship services, events, visitors, staff portraits and other activities as requested by Central’s various ministries. Our images help communicate the many facets of Central through publication on our website and other Central Church publications, as well as, in local, state and global church and public media. Images are placed in the Image Archive where they can be accessed in the church office. You can Request photo coverage by filling out an online form or by contacting Tom Atkinson.
Comforters & Prayer Shawl Ministry
Participants enjoy knitting, crocheting, quilting, and fellowship. The group has a number of ongoing service projects, including prayer shawls, as well as special and individual projects. Experienced, as well as inexperienced "stitchers" are welcome.
Cookie Baking Team
Cookie Teams meet once a month to bake cookies for the hospitality time after Sunday services. They meet either the 1st Tuesdays from 1-4 p.m. or 3rd Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. Contact, Carla Roberts.
Hospitality
This team assures guests are welcomed at Central. Greeters, Ushers and refreshment table helpers are needed for Sunday services and at other designated times. Contact, Nan Horstman.
Office Assistants
Central's office staff members rely on volunteers to help carry out the ministries of the church. Answering the phones, stuffing envelopes, filing, sorting mail, recording data are some of the jobs of an office assistant.
Van Ministry
Using the church vans, drivers pick up and deliver those unable to drive to the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. Contact, Darcy Dewling.
