Welcome members and guests to Central United Methodist Church, a Certified Welcoming Congregation. For more than 150 years, Central Church has been serving in the heart of beautiful downtown Traverse City, Michigan. Whether you're from the area or a new resident, we invite you to be part of our unique faith community. Central provides a church home where you can make new friends, grow in your Christian faith and discover meaningful opportunities for service that will enrich your life and make a difference in the lives of others. Under the leadership of Pastor Dale Ostema and Pastor Chris Lane, you are welcome to join us for Traditional Worship or Worship at The Well. For more information go to the Worship Services page. Upon request, large print bulletins, large print hymnals and hearing devices are available. Please check with an usher if you need assistance.

Child Care is provided during Sunday School and during Church Services. The nursery is located in the lower level of the church. Pagers are given to parents for nursery age children and are available for 3 to 4 year old children. For more information go to Nursery.
Handicap Access is available at Central. Go to Handicap Information to view the options. Parking is available on Cass Street in front of the church and in the parking lot across from Central Church. Go to Church Layout to see the floor plan of Central Church.

(note - not all activities are listed, check the calendar for all listings). The "Photos" page has photos taken from the past years events. "Members Only" pages are sections that current members of Central Church have permission to access. This requires registering as a new user on the homepage. These pages will include information regarding the member directory, church logo, prayer circle and other future works.
