Central to Our Future Campaign:
Incredible Generosity in Early Fundraising Efforts
The Central to our Future campaign committee has been busy with the first phase of gift commitment solicitations toward our goal of an inclusive and welcoming parking lot entrance and accessible and flexible worship space at the front of the sanctuary. We are looking to raise $3.5 million dollars. The response to these early conversations has been overwhelmingly positive and we are pleased to report that, to date, we have received written and verbal gift commitments totaling $1.945 million. This means that we are well on our way toward our 2/3rds goal. ($2.3 million).
The $2.3 million in gift commitments will enable us to hold a church conference vote authorizing the acceptance of a “not to exceed contract” from Cunningham-Limp and the beginning of construction.
Thank you to all of you who have already made such generous gift commitments.
For the next several months, the campaign committee will be reaching out to members and friends of Central Church to continue these gift commitment conversations. If you receive a phone call from one of us to schedule a visit, please say yes! We have exciting news to share and we are eager to have you join us in this campaign.
If you would like to speak to a committee visitation team prior to being called, contact me (deanlfrancis@me.com or 847-927-5953) and we will get you on our schedule.
