There are TWO options to attend Ash Wednesday Worship on February 14, 2024 at Central Church:

12 noon in the Sanctuary – Traditional Worship with Imposition of Ashes

7 pm in the Sanctuary – Traditional Worship with Chancel Choir and Imposition of Ashes

The first day of Lent. It marks the beginning of a period of reflection and penance. In the Bible, sprinkling oneself with ashes traditionally signifies one’s sorrow for committing sins. In the Christian tradition, Ash Wednesday also marked the beginning of preparation for understanding Christ’s death and resurrection.
