Learn about the Big Picture of the Bible with Miss Cindy and friends, with journaling, quiet time with Jesus, drawing, learning bible basics and growth mindset. Cclasses are taught with a trauma informed perspective.

This fall, we will focus on the book by Adam Hamilton titled “The Walk”, and this intergenerational study will include a sermon for adults, while children are taught the same sermon in a kid friendly way.

Messy Church is a new monthly opportunity to eat, hang out, and celebrate the work of God in our lives! Join us for a brief meal and program at 5:30 sharp. From there, you have options. Join in with our Serve Wednesday community projects, OR begin your new year with our January study series titled: “Who Am I?”. This study will help you discover and rediscover how God fearfully and wonderfully created you.
About the meal: This dinner is sponsored by the Central’s Creation Stewards. All proceeds will be used to support their community projects to promote and educate the congregation and community on being good steward of God’s creation.
Pre-orders are requested so that enough food can be prepared.

Join us during Mid-Week Meetup for this once-a-month opportunity to participate in special activities to serve the Traverse City Community. Activities are appropriate for all ages. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate together.
MEAL INFO: This week will feature our “Messy Church” program during a catered meal from Taste of India in Traverse City. Pre-ordering is required for this meal. Please read the details and pre-order meals here.

Today is Ash Wednesday, and Students 3rd-12th grade will start in class at 5:30, learn about what Ash Wednesday is and talk about it and answer questions. At 7pm, they will join the congregation for the Ash Wednesday service. Classes end at 7:30 with the ending of Ash Wednesday services.

All are welcome to join this traditional service of prayer, a brief message, music by Central’s Chancel Choir and imposition of ashes.

All ages Kindergarten-7th grade will join for a Lent filled with ways to take care of you. We will focus on Art Therapy, and will bring in different ways to take care of you…the sky is the limit.

Join us for this Traditional Service featuring the Seven Last Words of Christ as told by pastors throughout the surrounding church community.
The order of the service will allow for participants to come and go as they are able, entering and exiting quietly during musical interludes. A list of the participating local pastors and the order in which they will be speaking will be posted here once it becomes available.
This service will be livestreamed on the Central Church Facebook Page and Website via YouTube.
