Calling all Greeters and Welcome Desk Hosts

Thank you for being an occasional/regular greeter or Welcome Desk Host. If you expect to be a
greeter in the future, this would be a perfect introduction. Creating a warm and friendly welcome
is an essential part of hospitality. To help us be in-the-know in these roles, two 30-
minute training options are scheduled:

Sun., Nov. 2 after the 11 a.m. service, (approx 12:10 pm)

Sun., Nov 9, after the 9 am service (approx 10:10 am) 

Select the day/time that best fits your schedule.

Both will take place in the Chapel.

The training will cover 3 areas:
a)  An overview of the role and what is expected for greeters and Welcome Desk hosts.
b) Sarah Drews will cover some elements of medical safety including location of relevant first
aid kits and the EAD.
c) Safety and security protocols – what to do in case of ….. As you may know, we have added
walkie talkies to the mix. Pastor Joan, Ryan, or Eldon may drop in for this part.
