Thursday, April 9 we are partnering with The SALT Coalition for a Know Your Rights Training at Central from 6:30p to 8:30p. Childcare available. Know Your Rights Training for community members is presented by the SALT Coalition and NoMi Neighbor Network. In this training, we will learn how to be peaceful observers to actions taken against our immigrant neighbors. We will prepare for and practice what it looks like to act in solidarity and show up in the most effective and peaceful way during situations of enforcement activity. Knowing our rights and theirs, is an essential step in the work that we are doing.
