Joan is the Associate Pastor at Central Church. Her primary roles include discipleship and worship, and she provides support in ministries of hospitality, outreach, facilities, faith development, and care. She has a passion for finding creative and widely accessible ways to connect people in community with God and one another. She seeks to center listening, learning, curiosity, and creativity in ministry – and life in general. In addition to music, she enjoys hiking, trying new recipes, and building an adventuresome life with her wife Sham, and their two dogs Samson and Piper.
