Well…!
That was a moving Moses (“Child of”) sermon and a deep-rooted surprise at the conclusion.
Dale, Deb and Family- Peace be with you all in your decisions and convictions as you move forward into retirement.
Having made the same decision not so long ago, I do warn you about the unsettled, “up rooting” that ensues.
Continue to be strong and courageous, as you have demonstrated in action so many times before.
You will be GREATLY missed. Your steadfast leadership has been a Beacon for us these many years and especially these past months.
Blessings! Shalom.
Thank you, Dale, for the faithful, exactly on-point sermon. Dale’s retiring is a huge uprooting for us. We will pray that he has bread for that journey. Although we are happy for you, Dale, we are very sad to have you leave us in June.
A beautiful sermon, Dale, as usual, and a shocking announcement after. We will miss you greatly! Your gentle, kind, intelligent leadership for Central and your caring for us and this congregation has been a gift for us all. You have helped open wide the doors of Central to all and have helped open all of our eyes to the needs of so many! God bless you and Deb in your next adventure. We know you’ll continue to be a blessing, wherever you are.
As someone who Uprooted Himself Four Years ago to the Northeast Side of San Antonio, I can tell you that “Buyers Remorse” is a BIG Problem! I have NOT been back to TC in Fourteen Months, and as soon as this Pandemic is over, I WILL BE BACK for a Long Visit.
Sorry to see you Retire, Pastor Chris. Will Miss you. Do enjoy the Service.
