Ellen, thanks. I too felt that the story of Louise & Nathan & Riley were the Gospel incarnate for the theme we were trying to get at in our message series.
James, thanks. I too felt that the story of Louise & Nathan & Riley were the Gospel incarnate for the theme we were trying to get at in our message series.
My friends and colleagues of Before During and After incarceration have the souls of Nathan and Louise. Sharing this story along with encouragement to be hopeful and to reach out to our neighbors must be our mission. The Lord gives us strength for many challenges. This time in our history is yet another we will endure and survive with the teachings of Jesus and the faith of our Church neighborhood. Thank you dear Chris and Central Church for being by our sides as we live and learn.
As we continue to meet in this manner let us never loose sight of the fact that God is in control of this entire situation. It is only by our faith in Him that we will survive as a congregation and a society. When the time comes to reopen our society, our church and our hearts we should all be grateful for God’s direction through this whole experience and period of confinement. Some things will be changed for many years and possibly forever but some day we will be able to shake hands again, hug each other in Christian love and resume our lives knowing that we have survived as a family bonded by the love of Christ. God bless each and every one of you.
Tia and Walter watched the 9:00 service from home together. Thank you, Chris, for the thoughtful freshness of your gospel message. We appreciate all the work of all of the service participants in making it possible for us to continue having worship at home. We are very grateful for Central Church.
Don and I participate in the Sunday morning 11:00 service each week, we feel at one with the congregation we have been part of for over 58 years. We are ever so grateful for the inspiring messages of our pastors and the fine music to help us all through these difficult days. May God’s blessing be with each one.
