Welcome to this Special Panel on the future of the United Methodist Church. This is your online line host, Darcy and on behalf of Central Church, I’m glad you have decided to join us for this important discussion.
Presenters tonight will be Rev. Jack Harnish, retired UMC pastor and author, Rev. Jodie Flessner, Western Waters District Superintendent, Rev. Linda Stephan, and Rev. Joan VanDessel, both Pastors at Central United Methodist Church.
If you have any questions please comment and I will pass them on. We will try to answer get to as many questions as possible.
I agree with Jack, in that we have lost or are losing a generation or two of people who were raised in the church though have left or just not interested in “organized” religion.
